One of three things will happen if we find contraband in your mail:

• We will confiscate it, place it in the adult in custody’s property box, and not allow the adult in custody access to it while lodged at NORCOR.
• We will destroy it, if it presents a health or safety hazard.
• We will confiscate it as evidence in a criminal investigation.

Depending on the degree of contraband violation command staff may restrict any future correspondence you have with an adult in custody.

***Introduction of contraband into a Corrections Facility is a Class C felony under ORS 162.185 and is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.***
